Arderne Gardens is a public park and arboretum in Claremont, Cape Town, located in the Western Cape of South Africa. It was established in 1845 by Ralph Henry Arderne, a timber merchant originally from Cheshire, England. Arderne Gardens is situated 320 metres southwest of Claremont Library.

The station has two main tracks and an unused side track, served by a side platform and an island platform; the station building is at ground level on the western side of the tracks. Claremont railway station is situated 410 metres north of Claremont Library.
