St. Johann Nepomuk, better known as the Asam Church, is a Baroque church in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It was built from 1733 to 1746 by a pair of brothers, sculptor Egid Quirin Asam and painter Cosmas Damian Asam, as their private church. Sankt Johann Nepomuk / Asam Church is situated 450 metres northeast of Die Ritter.

Three gates are all that remain of the medieval defensive walls, but within is a well-preserved district with many of Munich's iconic sights: twin-towered Frauenkirche, New City Hall with clockwork figures dancing to the chimes of its Glockenspiel, and Hofbräuhaus that temple to drinking and gorging.
