Muhalnitsa is a protected area in western Bulgaria, located at one kilometre south of the town of Botevgrad and at 63 km north-east of the capital Sofia.

The Clock tower of Botevgrad is the symbol of the town and a part of 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria. Its clock mechanism still rings every hour with a respective number of bell rings based on the current hour. It was constructed in 1866. Clock Tower is situated 3½ km north of Местност Зелин.
