The Botanischer Garten der Technischen Universität Dresden, also known as the Botanischer Garten Dresden or Dresden Botanical Garden, is a botanical garden maintained by the Dresden University of Technology. Dresden Botanical Garden is situated 120 metres northeast of Sommertheater.

The Transparent Factory was a car factory and exhibition space in Dresden, Germany owned by German carmaker Volkswagen and designed by architect Gunter Henn of the Henn GmbH firm. Transparent Factory is situated 300 metres northwest of Sommertheater.

Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion is a stadium in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. It is named after athlete Rudolf Harbig and is the current home of Dynamo Dresden. It also hosts fixtures of the German national team on an irregular basis since 1911. Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion is situated 700 metres west of Sommertheater.
