Ġgantija is a megalithic temple complex from the Neolithic era, on the Mediterranean island of Gozo in Malta. The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and are older than the pyramids of Egypt. Ġgantija is situated 2 km east of Victoria (Ir-Rabat) - Xambekk.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the Cittadella of Victoria in Gozo, Malta. The cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, and has been the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gozo since the formation of the diocese in 1864. Cathedral of the Assumption is situated 1 km southwest of Victoria (Ir-Rabat) - Xambekk.

Victoria, also called Rabat is in Gozo. It should not be confused with another town called Rabat on the main island of Malta.

Xagħra is in Gozo. It's an attractive village of 4,900 people that houses the Ġgantija temples, and is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk to Ramla i Hamra beach and to Rabat, so if you don't have too much time to explore the island, this is a good place to use as a base.
