The New Athos Cave also Novoafonskaya, Novy Afon Cave, or New Afon Cave is a karst cave in the Iverian Mountain in Abkhazia near the city of New Athos. New Athos Cave is situated 460 metres west of Psyrdzkha.

Anakopia Fortress is an ancient military citadel in New Athos in the disputed Abkhazia, Georgia located some 22 km by road along the coast from Sukhumi. Anakopia Fortress is situated 650 metres northwest of Psyrdzkha.

New Athos Monastery is a monastery in New Athos, municipality of Gudauta, in a breakaway republic of Abkhazia. New Athos Monastery was founded in 1875 by monks who came from the St. Panteleimon Monastery in Mount Athos, with Mount Athos having been an important site for the Orthodox Church since 1054. New Athos Monastery is situated 630 metres southeast of Psyrdzkha.

New Athos or Akhali Atoni is a town in the Gudauta Municipality of Abkhazia situated some 22 km from Sokhumi by the shores of the Black Sea. The town was previously known under the Greek names Nikopol, Acheisos, Anakopia, Nikopia, Nikofia, Nikopsis, Absara, and later Psyrtskha. New Athos Cave is one of Abkhazia's tourist attractions.
