Lake Arhuaycocha is a lake in Peru, in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Santa Cruz District. It is at the foot of the mountains Pucajirca and Rinrijirca and the Arhuay glacier. Lake Arhuaycocha is situated 520 metres east of Arhuaycocha.

Alpamayo or Shuyturaju is one of the most conspicuous peaks in the Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes. Alpamayo Creek originates northwest of it. The Alpamayo lies next to the slightly higher Quitaraju. Alpamayo is situated 2½ km northwest of Arhuaycocha.
