Kitselas is a railway point on the northwestern shore of the Skeena River in the Skeena region of west central British Columbia, Canada. The former name was Vanarsdol. Kitselas is situated 3½ km northeast of Copper River.

Terrace is an inland city in the North Coast of British Columbia. The largest city in the region, it has a population of about 12,500 people, a significant portion of which are the Kitselas people, who have lived in the area for thousands of years.
