Oreini is a village and a former community in the Serres regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Serres, of which it is a municipal unit. Oreini is situated 6 km southeast of Παρατηρητήριο Λυκόλοφου.

Banitsa is a deserted village in Serres regional unit, northern Greece. Its ruins are situated some 15 km north-east of the town of Serres, near the present-day village of Oreini, on the southern slopes of the Vrontous mountains. Karié is situated 7 km southeast of Παρατηρητήριο Λυκόλοφου.
