Cripta de los Héroes

The Crypt of Heroes is a war monument located at Intiorko Hill, Tacna, Peru. Originally inaugurated by the Chilean administration in 1901 and rededicated in 1930 by the Peruvian government, the monument is currently partially destroyed. Cripta de los Héroes is situated 2½ km southwest of Asociación Altiplano.

Intiorko, also known as the Alto de la Alianza, is a 780-m.a.s.l. hill located in Tacna, Peru. An important landmark of the city, its stone has been used for the construction of many of its landmarks, such as the Cathedral, the Parabolic Arch and the Prefecture.

Zela House, also called Zela City Museum, is a museum located at San Martín Avenue, in the historic centre of Tacna, Peru. The building is a former residence of Francisco Antonio de Zela, who participated in the 1811 Tacna rebellion, an important episode preceding the Peruvian War of Independence. Zela House is situated 4 km south of Asociación Altiplano.
