Hornby is a town in Steuben County, New York, United States. The population was 1,682 at the 2020 census. The name is from John Hornby, a land owner of the Pulteney Tract. The Town of Hornby is located on the eastern border of the county, north of Corning. Hornby is situated 2½ miles west of Hornby Park.
