Part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, it is the main stadium of the US Open tennis tournament and has a capacity of 23,771, making it the largest tennis stadium in the world. Prior to 2021, the station was normally open only during New York Mets home games, the U.S. Mets–Willets Point station is situated 450 feet southwest of Mets–Willets Point.
