Lingyin Temple is a prominent Chan Buddhist temple near Hangzhou that is renowned for its many pagodas and grottos. Its name is commonly and literally translated into English as Temple of the Soul's Retreat.

Leifeng Pagoda

The Leifeng Pagoda is a five-story, eight-sided tower located on Sunset Hill south of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Originally constructed in the year AD 975, it collapsed in 1924 but was rebuilt in 2002. Leifeng Pagoda is situated 2½ km east of Shuangfeng.
