The Schloss Erlangen is a residence in Erlangen, built between 1700 and 1704 by George William, Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. Work was initially led by Antonio della Porta and after his death in 1702 by Gottfried von Gedeler. Schloss Erlangen is situated 160 metres southwest of Neischl-Grotte.

The Burgberg, also sometimes referred to as Strawberry Hill, is a 332-meter-high sandstone hill in Erlangen, Germany. It was quarried in the 15th century and its southern slope has been used to house beer cellars since 1675.
