Parthenon

The Parthenon is a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, that was dedicated to the goddess Athena. Its decorative sculptures are considered some of the high points of classical Greek art, and the Parthenon is considered an enduring symbol of ancient Greece, Western civilisation, and democracy. Parthenon is situated 500 metres south of Suvla.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation, popularly known as the Metropolis or Mitropoli, is the cathedral church of the Archbishopric of Athens and all of Greece. Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens is situated 120 metres east of Suvla.

Hadrian’s Library

Hadrian's Library is the ruin of a monumental building created by Roman Emperor Hadrian in AD 132 on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens. The main entrance to the library was part of the Stoa of Hadrian with columns of Karystian marble and Pentelic capitals. Hadrian’s Library is situated 200 metres west of Suvla.
