Ars Electronica Linz GmbH is an Austrian cultural, educational and scientific institute active in the field of new media art, founded in Linz in 1979. It is based at the Ars Electronica Center, which houses the Museum of the Future, in the city of Linz. Ars Electronica Center is situated 110 metres northeast of Statue of John of Nepomuk.

The Stadtwerkstatt is an open event and project house in Linz. Founded in 1979 by young activists, it is the city's oldest autonomous cultural center. The Lentos Art Museum is a museum of modern art in Linz, Austria, which opened in May 2003 as the successor to the Neue Galerie der Stadt Linz. The museum was designed by Zurich-based architectural firm Weber & Hofer. Lentos Museum of Modern Art is situated 370 metres east of Statue of John of Nepomuk.
