Aliartos railway station

Aliartos railway station is a railway station in Aliartos, Boeotia, Greece. The station opened on 8 March 1904, along with the rest of the line. It is served by Intercity trains between Athens and Thessaloniki and by Regional and Express trains to Kalampaka.

Onchestos

Onchestos or Onchestus was a Greek town in ancient Boeotia northwest of Thebes. In ancient times it was famous for its sanctuary of Poseidon. The site has been excavated intermittently since the 1960s. Onchestos is situated 3½ km southeast of Aliartos railway station.

Petra is a village and a community of the Aliartos-Thespies municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Aliartos, of which it was a municipal district. Pétra is situated 5 km west of Aliartos railway station.
