The Museum of Black Civilisations is a national museum in Dakar, Senegal, that opened on 6 December 2018. It is directed by Hamady Bocoum, an archaeologist and researcher at Cheikh-Anta-Diop University. Museum of Black Civilisations is situated 1¼ km northwest of Cercle de la Rade.

The Théodore Monod African Art Museum in Dakar, Senegal is one of the oldest art museums in West Africa. It was promoted by Léopold Senghor, the country's first President. Théodore Monod African Art Museum is situated 1½ km southwest of Cercle de la Rade.
