Orient Point Light is a sparkplug lighthouse off Orient Point, New York in Plum Gut of Long Island Sound – the deep and narrow gap between Orient Point and Plum Island. Orient Point Lighthouse is situated 1 mile northeast of Cross Sound Ferry.

Orient Beach State Park is a 363-acre state park located in Southold, New York. The park is situated at the tip of the North Fork of Long Island. Long Beach, located within the park, was designated a National Natural Landmark in April 1980 for its 2.5-mile sand spit beach demonstrating plant succession from salt marsh to maritime red cedar forest. Orient Beach State Park is situated 2½ miles southwest of Cross Sound Ferry.
