Donauinsel is a station on U1 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located on Donauinsel Island, in the Donaustadt district. It opened in 1982. The station is below the Reichsbrücke bridge.

The Reichsbrücke is a major bridge in Vienna, linking Mexikoplatz in Leopoldstadt with the Donauinsel in Donaustadt across the Danube. The bridge is used by 50,000 vehicles per day and carries six lanes of traffic, U-Bahn tracks, two footpaths, two cyclepaths and two utility tunnels. Reichsbrücke is situated 200 metres southwest of Donauinsel.
