The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a major library and cultural center on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria, Egypt. It is a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria, once one of the largest libraries worldwide, which was lost in antiquity. Bibliotheca Alexandrina is situated 780 metres west of Alexandria Youth Hostel.

Collège Saint Marc is an all-male French Catholic school in Alexandria, Egypt. The school is located in the Shatby neighborhood in central Alexandria. Collège Saint Marc was founded in 1928 by the De La Salle Brothers to be the second Lassalian school in Alexandria after École Saint Gabriel. College Saint-Marc is situated 130 metres east of Alexandria Youth Hostel.
