Petrified Forest National Park

Petrified Forest National Park is a national park that is in the Mogollon Rim in eastern Arizona, in the Southwest region. The park takes its name from the remnants of ancient trees which have been transformed into brilliantly colored minerals through a series of geological processes.
Puerco Pueblo

Puerco Ruin and Petroglyphs are the ruins of a large Indian pueblo, which reached its peak around 1300 CE, containing over 100 rooms. It is the largest known archeological site within the Petrified Forest National Park. Puerco Pueblo is situated 1 mile north of Newspaper Rock Petroglyphs Archeological District.
