The Ehrenberg is a hill to the east of Ilmenau, rising to a height of 528 metres and standing opposite the Tragberg. The border between Ilmenau and Langewiesen runs over its summit, which is marked by a large wooden cross.

Burgstein

The Burgstein is a rock formation, about 10 metres high, in the valley of the Ilm in Langewiesen in the central German state of Thuringia. It is made from quartz porphyry and has been a geological natural monument since 1939, the same year a nearby allotment garden association was founded and named after the rock. Burgstein is situated 750 metres south of Pumpwerk WAVI.

Langewiesen is a town and a former municipality in the Ilm-Kreis district, in Thuringia, Germany. Since July 2018, it is part of the town Ilmenau. It is situated on the river Ilm, 4 km southeast of Ilmenau.
