The National Mint, also known as the Mint of Lima, is a mint located in the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, in the city of Lima, Peru. Its origin dates back to 1565. National Mint of Peru is situated 170 metres northeast of La Moneda.
Chinatown Gate
The Chinese Arch, also known as the Chinese Portal, is a paifang located at the entrance of Lima's Chinatown, in Barrios Altos. It was a donation to Peru by its Chinese colony and the Government of the Republic of China—at the time recognised by Peru—in commemoration of its 150th year of independence. Chinatown Gate is situated 170 metres west of La Moneda.
