Beijing Nanyuan Airport was a People's Liberation Army Air Force Base and a secondary commercial airport of Beijing, the capital of China. Located in Fengtai District, 3 km south of the 4th Ring Road and 13 km from Tiananmen Square, Nanyuan Airport was first opened in 1910, making it the oldest airport in China. Beijing Nanyuan Airport is situated 2½ km west of Wufu Tang.
