Skala Oropou is a community in East Attica, Greece, on the South Gulf of Euboea, due north of Athens city center. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Oropos, of which it is a community. It is part of Athens metropolitan area.

Oropos is a small town and a municipality in East Attica, Greece. The village of Skala Oropou, within the bounds of the municipality, was the site an important ancient Greek city, Oropus, and the famous nearby sanctuary of Amphiaraos is still visible today. Oropos is situated 3½ km southwest of Πλατεία Μητέρας.
