The park has 325 Nile crocodiles as well as giant tortoises, green iguanas, giant pythons, anacondas, and marmosets. Crocoparc Agadir is situated 3½ km north of Arrondissement Azrou.

The 2004 census recorded a population of 17,059 inhabitants in the urban centre, which increased to 50,946 inhabitants in the 2014 census. Drarga is situated 2½ km north of Arrondissement Azrou.
