The Dmytro Yavornytsky National Historical Museum of Dnipro is a museum, established in Dnipro in 1848 by Andriy Fabr, local governor. Its permanent collection consists of 283 thousand objects from ancient Paleolithic implements to display units of World War II. The Governor's House is a 19th-century historical building in the city of Dnipro, Ukraine. The name "Governor's House" originated when the central treasury bought the building at the intersection of Voskresenska Street and Ekaterininsky Prospekt to move the governor of Yekaterinoslav and his office there in 1887. Governor’s House is situated 3½ km north of Лекторій.
