St. Canute's Cathedral, also known as Odense Cathedral, is named after the Danish king Canute the Saint, otherwise Canute IV. It is a fine example of Brick Gothic architecture. Saint Canute’s Cathedral is situated 200 metres northeast of Politikens Kiosk.

Nonnebakken

Nonnebakken is a hill in Odense, Denmark. It is the site of one of Denmark's six former Viking ring castles, built during the reign of Sweyn Forkbeard, who had forced his father Harold Bluetooth to leave the country and seek refuge with the Jomsvikings on Wollin around 975. Nonnebakken is situated 350 metres southeast of Politikens Kiosk.
