Caraz, Carás or Caraz de Santa Cruz is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,025 metres high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, in the districts Caraz and Santa Cruz District.

Lake Parón is the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca, on the Peruvian Andes, 32 km E from the city Caraz, originally at 4,185 m asl, now at 4,155 m asl. Lake Parón is situated 1½ km southwest of Turn left.
