Θυμαράκια
Thymarakia is a neighborhood of the center of Athens. It takes its name from the Greek word 'θυμάρι' which means 'thyme', which was formerly plentiful in the area. The area is served by Agios Nikolaos metro station on line 1 of the Athens Metro.Places of Interest

Platonic Academy

The Academy was founded by Plato in ca. 387 BC in Athens. Aristotle studied there for twenty years before founding his own school, the Lyceum. The academy persisted throughout the Hellenistic period as a skeptical school, until coming to an end after the death of Philo of Larissa in 83 BC.

Attiki is a metro station in Athens, Greece. The station opened in 1885. It was the main hub of Attica Railways, a metre gauge network connecting downtown Athens with the mining town of Lavrion and the northern suburbs of Marousi and Kifissia.
