Viper is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Darien Lake in Darien Center, New York. Built by then newly-formed Arrow Huss, the ride opened in 1982 as the first roller coaster in the world to feature five inversions, surpassing Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds and the Demon model at Six Flags Great America and California's Great America, all of which featured four. Viper is situated 790 feet south of Six Flags SkyScreamer.
