Münchenstein railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Münchenstein, in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft. It is an intermediate stop on the Basel–Biel/Bienne line and is served by local trains only. Münchenstein railway station is situated 290 metres west of Münchenstein Castle.

Built in 2002/2003 under commission of the Laurenz Foundation, it was designed by the renowned architectural office of Herzog & de Meuron, the Schaulager opened in 2003. Schaulager is situated 2 km northwest of Münchenstein Castle.
