Arapaj is a village in the former municipality of Rrashbull, Durrës County, Albania. The etymological origin of the name Arapaj is hypothesised to come from the word Arap which means Arab in Albanian, and it comes from the Turkish word which is the same.

Golem is a town in western Albania. The population is 25,000. At 250 metres above sea level, Golem has one of the lowest elevations in Albania, yet it is a well-known ski area. It is 75 km from Albania's capital, Tirana and about 20 km south of Durrës.
