Located east of the grade crossing at Central Avenue, Stirling station serves trains of NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch, which operates between Gladstone and Summit, with trains continuing east to Hoboken Terminal and New York Penn Station from Summit. Stirling station is situated 1¼ miles west of Gillette station.
