The Metepec railway station, otherwise known as the Tecnológico station or Tecnológico–Aeropuerto station, is a commuter railway station serving the El Insurgente commuter rail system which connects Greater Toluca, State of Mexico, with Mexico City. Metepec railway station is situated 3½ km east of Town Square Metepec.

Toluca Centro railway station is situated 3½ km west of Town Square Metepec.

Metepec is a city in Mexico State. Once an identifiable city in its own right, Metepec is now regarded as a suburb of Toluca. It is known mainly for its quaint streets and commerce, including a number of shops selling Mexican artesanias, particularly ceramic sculptures.
