The Nordic House is a cultural institution in the Faroe Islands. Its aim is to support and promote Nordic and Faroese culture, locally and in the Nordic region.

Tórsvøllur

Tórsvøllur is a football stadium on the sport site of Gundadalur in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. The stadium holds 6,500 people, and was built in 1999 to become the country's national stadium to provide an artificial grass surface on which international football matches could be played. Tórsvøllur is situated 3 km southeast of Villingadalur.

Sund is a small village in the Faroe Islands, located north of Tórshavn. It has the largest powerstation in the country. Currently, it has a population of only 1 person.

Tórshavn is the capital of the Faroe Islands. At the foot of a mountain range, the archipelago's largest city has a long history dating back as far as 850 AD. Hoyvík is situated 2½ km east of Villingadalur.

Hvítanes

Hvítanes is a village in the Faroe Islands. It is on Streymoy's east coast, northeast of Hoyvík and Tórshavn. Its name means "White Point" in Faroese. Hvítanes is located in a little bay with a stone beach and a harbour where the small boats can be pulled up a ramp out of reach of the sometimes destructive sea. Hvítanes is situated 3 km northeast of Villingadalur.
