Vanashen is a village in the Vedi Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. Before 1978, it was known as Taytan. It is one of the sites of the USAID Community Partnership for Health program.

Aygavan is a village in the Vedi Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia, located on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near the Yerevan-Nakhchivan railway, at a height of 840 meters above sea level. Aygavan is situated 3 km west of Արարատի ՕԿՋ.

Avshar is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. It hosted the 1993 and 1995 CYMA – Canadian Youth Mission to Armenia led by Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and Ronald Alepian. Avshar is situated 3 km southwest of Արարատի ՕԿՋ.
