Shabas al Shuhada

Shabas ash-Shuhada is a city in of . In Ptolemaic and Byzantine Egypt it was known as Kabasa or Gabasson and was a center of the Kabassite nome, which after the Muslim conquest of Egypt was transformed into a kurah.
