Dayrut al-Sharif is a town in Egypt. It is located on the west bank of the Nile, in the Asyut Governorate. According to tradition, the Holy Family visited Dayrut al-Sharif on their flight into Egypt. Dayrut al-Sharif is situated 3½ km west of Al Hawata.

Dairut is a city in Egypt. It is located on the west bank of the Nile, in the Asyut Governorate. This is the point where the Nile divides, and a branch wanders off and eventually ends up in the Faiyum. Dairut is situated 5 km southwest of Al Hawata.
