Until September 2008, the museum was called the Matsushita Electric Industrial History Museum, but it was changed to its current name on October 1, 2008, to coordinate with the renaming of the company to Panasonic. Konosuke Matsushita Museum is situated 200 metres northwest of Nishisanso.
