The Hong Kong China Temple, formerly the Hong Kong Temple, is the 48th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The intent to build the temple was announced on October 3, 1992, by Gordon B. Hong Kong China Temple is situated 580 metres southeast of Pelican House.
