Hammedi is a town and commune in Boumerdès Province, Algeria. According to the 1998 census it has a population of 27,972. Hammedi is situated 3½ km south of Khettab.

Dar El Beïda is a municipality and the seat of the eponymous district, in Algiers Province. It is located in the eastern suburbs of the capital, approximately 16 kilometers from Algiers city center, and lies at a crossroads linking the capital to the eastern and southern regions of the country. Dar El Beïda is situated 5 km west of Khettab.
