The Predil Depot, also known as the Predil Roadblock, is a fortification built by Austria-Hungary to guard against an Italian attack through the Predil Pass. Fort Predil is situated 580 metres southwest of Mangartski slap.

The Log pod Mangartom Mosque was a Sunni Islam mosque that stood from 1916 until the 1920s near the village of Log pod Mangartom in the Austrian Littoral, Austria-Hungary, in the area of what is now the Municipality of Bovec in northwestern Slovenia. Log pod Mangartom Mosque is situated 2½ km south of Mangartski slap.

Strmec na Predelu is a settlement in the Municipality of Bovec in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It lies on the road to the Predel Pass. Another road, distinguished by being the road built at the highest elevation in Slovenia, splits off the road to Predel and leads to the lodge on Mangart Saddle.
