The Sanmenxia Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the middle-reaches of the Yellow River near Sanmenxia Gorge on the border between Shanxi province and Henan Province, China. Sanmenxia Hydropower Station is situated 2½ km southeast of Heihuyao.
