Xihu Subdistrict is a subdistrict of Yuelu District in , , China. It was formed in 1998. The subdistrict has an area of about 10 square kilometres with a population of about 46,000.

As one of the four most prestigious academies over the last 1000 years in China, has been a famous institution of higher learning as well as a centre of academic activities and cultures since it was formally set up during the Northern Song Dynasty. is situated 3½ km south of Xihu.
