Lake Palčje is an intermittent lake in the Pivka basin north of the settlement Palčje in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. It fills an oval-shaped karst depression, crossed by Pivka, and approximately 1.5 km long and 0.5 km wide.

Kalec Castle is a partially ruined castle in Bač in Slovenia. The castle, of which only a single tower and some sections of wall survive intact, stands on a slope known as Breg, near the source of the Pivka River, at an elevation of 618 m.
