Jurassic Park: The Ride

Jurassic Park: The Ride, also known as Jurassic Park River Adventure, is a water-based amusement ride at several Universal theme parks. It was inspired by Steven Spielberg's 1993 film Jurassic Park and Michael Crichton's 1990 novel of the same name, on which the film is based.

Universal Creative based its design on various films in the King Kong franchise and consulted with Peter Jackson, who directed the 2005 film King Kong, during the initial phase of the project. Skull Island: Reign of Kong is situated 490 feet southeast of Jurassic Park: The Ride.

Flight of the Hippogriff is a junior roller coaster at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter section of the many Universal theme parks. It is present at Universal Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Beijing. Flight of the Hippogriff is situated 800 feet north of Jurassic Park: The Ride.
