The Art Museum of Georgia, alternatively known as Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts, is one of the leading museums in the country of Georgia. Falling under the umbrella of the Georgian National Museum, AMG is located near Freedom Square, Tbilisi and possesses around 140,000 items of Georgian, Oriental, Russian, and other European art. Shalva Amiranashvili State Museum of Arts of Georgia is situated 120 metres east of Museum of the Soviet Occupation.

Freedom Square or Liberty Square is located in the center of Tbilisi, Georgia, at the eastern end of Rustaveli Avenue. Under Imperial Russia it was known as Erivansky or Paskevich-Erivansky Square While part of the Soviet Union, it was Beria Square and Lenin Square. Freedom Square is situated 250 metres south of Museum of the Soviet Occupation.
