Elizabeth Alexandra Morton National Wildlife Refuge

The Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge is a 187-acre National Wildlife Refuge in Noyack, New York. Much of the refuge is situated on a peninsula surrounded by Noyack and Little Peconic bays.

Facing Peconic Bay and Shelter Island, Custer's location is host to some of the darkest skies on Long Island as a result of the comparatively lower levels of light pollution in the area.
